You need to conquer the quests in Silverpine as fast as you are able, and this is not always easy, especially if you are not part of a group. Unless you are a player rated 20 or higher (and have a big group of high level playing buddies) you should not tackle quests in Shadowfang Keep.

You see one of the big problems you run into at Shadowfang is that it contains an instanced dungeon that can be almost impossible to beat. If you want to learn how to move quickly through levels you should use some type of online manual.

Keep your coins for something important like skills and do not buy anything from an NPC. The only exception is the purchase of a little inexpensive food or drink for people in one of the WoW classes that absolutely must get some nourishment.

No sense in wasting time trying to repair the stuff you have because unless they are fully functional and operational they are already pretty much worthless.

When you are playing at a lower level you are going to uncover better quality gear for your character before it is actually needed anyway.

If you should have an item that signals “red” then go ahead and repair it when you are next in a town, but do not make a special trip.

All characters on WoW should be leveled in order, 1-10, 10-15, and 15-20. Sure you want to reach the higher levels but be patient and this will happen sooner than you think.

One of the reminders you will find in a level 60-70 guide book is that high levels do not mean that much unless you also have a stockpile of gold.

Look at the inventory pages for all of the supply vendors that you are passing. Pay attention to the last page because you will almost always find limited supply recipes available, and you can buy them. The more out of the way places you look the better the recipes that are available.
