After undergoing some mining training you can go to your personal spellbook and search for buttons labeled “Find Minerals” and “Smelting”. First you will have to transfer these to your taskbar. Then select “Find Minerals” and your onscreen map will highlight some areas with yellow circles as you near any of the mineral nodes.
The mining suppliers are often found near the mining trainers and you can get a Mining Pick from them.
